Using eBooks For the CPC Exam

So last week AAPC announced that you can use the eBook version of the coding books for the CPC exam. But you still have the option to use your printed coding books. So now you might be wondering--should you use the eBooks? Let's talk about it.
If you decide to use the eBook for the CPC exam, AAPC will issue you one to use for the exam. So you will not be using your own eBook that you already have. The downside to this is--if you have any highlights or notes in your eBook--you won't have access to them during the exam.
The upside to using eBooks--it may be quicker to navigate through, especially if you 've learned coding using eBooks in your coding course.
Now, if you decide to use printed books during the exam--you will use your own coding books. So you'll have access to any notes, tabs or highlights in those books. (This is for the US. I have heard from people in India that over there AAPC issues them coding books to use).
For my medical coding training course, students will use the printed coding books. But I do show my students the eBooks during the Zoom meetings sometimes, just so they can follow along with the coding walk-throughs that I do a little easier.
So what do you think about this change from AAPC? Will you use your printed coding books or the eBooks?
